MadCatz FightStick KE PS3
Fast Neutral and Easy Motions

Mad Catz’ Arcade FightSticks are legendary within the fighting game community for their accuracy, durability, and unique styling. Preferred by the world’s leading fighting game professionals, they are without peer on the competitive scene. This new ‘Korean Edition’ FightStick takes the precisely spaced, eight-button layout starring Sanwa Denshi 30mm action buttons and organizes it within a smaller chassis.

Korean-style Crown Lever with Circular Gate

Unlike the square gate employed by previous iterations of the Arcade FightStick, the KE’s gate enables corner-less movement. This is especially useful for moves – like hurling fireballs – which require circular motions. Also featuring a bat-top joystick instead of a lollipop-style version, the KE provides a significantly different feel during command input. Finally, the Crown lever’s unique rubber tension system – utilizing four micro-switches to achieve slightly higher resistance compared to Japanese-style Arcade FightSticks – provides an exclusive feeling while draining your opponent’s life bar.

Authentic Sanwa Denshi Action Buttons

This competition-ready FightStick uses Sanwa buttons, the very same parts found in Japanese arcade cabinets. Sanwa’s precise action buttons are the certified standard for tournament-grade FightSticks.

Premium-quality Components with Genuine Arcade Layout

The eight-button Vewlix-style layout offers a classic and ergonomic feel, while providing easy access to an arsenal of moves. The Sanwa OBSF-30 action buttons – each equipped with its own turbo setting – respond with pinpoint accuracy and can withstand repeated use.

Controller Lock/Unlock Button

The lock/unlock button on the control panel provides the ability to lock out the use of Start and Select functionality, and also prevents use of the home button. No more accidental pauses or automatic forfeitures in key moments during tournament matches!

3-Way Joystick Switch

The three-way joystick switch gives added functionality for navigating in-game menus and playing games from other genres, including downloadable titles on PSN. Easily switch between functionality for the left analog stick, right analog stick, or the default D-Pad setting.

Heavy Metal Base

This is no cheap plastic toy; the durable metal base increases the FightStick's weight for a solid, secure feel when draining your foe's life bar. Easily unscrew the rubber feet to securely mount to a table or other solid surface.

It's good 2/13/2014 9:18 pm The Fightstick plays way better than the controller
arcade style 1/1/2014 1:48 am I learned fighting games in the arcade with the "bat top" and circular gate joysticks. now if you're reading reviews about this stick people talk a lot about 2d and 3d fighting games. it makes no difference here. its about style of the joystick. you can easily do ultimate atomic buster motions with this (almost 720 degree motion), since its a circle shape, as well as the typical half circle, quarter circle, and charge motions. if you grew up with bat top/circular sticks this will feel right at home. the ball top/square gate sticks feel really weird to me so this was a great alternative. the "clicking" feels weird on movement, and that would be the only critique i have, but nearly every stick has that nowadays. for $99.99 compared to $180+ for the ball top TE sticks, its hard to turn this down.
