Uncomplicated Macro Programming
An intuitive graphical interface vastly simplifies macro programming. Assign single or multiple keystrokes – complete with custom timings – to macro keys or interface icons and then easily fine-tune your settings. This ability is essential for fast-paced games which require clear but complex multi-key actions. A single button press can buy your favorite weapon and armor setup in Counterstrike, or cast a sequence of your best abilities and spells in World of Warcraft. Three different modes can store macros – simply switch modes mid-game to triple your available commands. Custom profiles can be published to share with your community and saved for later recall, allowing for a seamless transition to another gaming PC. S.T.R.I.K.E.7 supports any PC game or app, including Star Wars: The Old Republic, Minecraft, Rust, Titanfall, Assassin's Creed, Ventrilo, Xsplit, and more.
Software Development Kit Generates Custom Content
An SDK empowers developers, third-party publishers, and anyone with C++ or C# knowhow to generate content for integration into the V.E.N.O.M. LCD touchscreen. Those without programming skills can still access content created by the gaming community. V.E.N.O.M. interaction built into PC games enables touch control of ancillary in-game interfaces such as maps and inventory selection.
Key Membrane Optimized for Responsiveness
S.T.R.I.K.E.7 embodies the best characteristics of popular mechanical switches to create the perfect key response for PC gaming. The specially engineered P.U.L.S.E. membrane mimics the tactile feel generated by the mechanical keys often preferred by gamers, but without excess noise. S.T.R.I.K.E.7's key bed delivers maximum responsiveness courtesy of a perfectly optimized reset point. The membrane also features enhanced anti-ghosting in the core WASD and cursor sectors. To help ensure crucial in-game actions report exactly as needed, you can hold down up to seven keys at the same time.
Customizable RGB Backlighting Color-matches Gaming Setups
Full halo-effect RGB backlighting – with an astonishing 16 million color variations – matches the keyboard to your gaming rig. And, the keys' laser-etched, lacquered light guides are ideal for gaming in dim environments.
Control Module with V.E.N.O.M. TFT-LCD Touchscreen
Easily navigate the keyboard's many functions with the intuitive V.E.N.O.M. touchscreen. Program advanced macros, adjust backlighting, and take in-game control of external functions. Balance game and chat volumes, launch apps and websites, even initiate and control TeamSpeak – all with a few simple finger taps.
Mad Catz collaborated with TeamSpeak's development team to integrate their state-of-the-art chat technology into the S.T.R.I.K.E.7. Once the TeamSpeak application is running on the keyboard's V.E.N.O.M. touchscreen, you can select specific game rooms to check who is online and who is actively talking. You can even control the chat volume from within the game you are playing, removing the need to pause and switch programs.
Main Keyboard
The main keyboard's small footprint gives your mouse plenty of space for large, sweeping movements. Speedy, double-tap-friendly keys respond to an optimized 60g of actuation force and reset at the perfect level. Interchangeable WASD and cursor keys include standard, contoured, and rubber-edged versions. Precise, customizable, and even helping to reduce muscle fatigue, S.T.R.I.K.E.7 is an ideal weapon during gaming marathons.
Function Strip
The removable Function Strip adds four programmable buttons to the mix. Including the V.E.N.O.M. touchscreen, S.T.R.I.K.E.7 incorporates 24 buttons over three modes to create an impressive 72 user-definable commands.
NumPad & Palm/Wrist Rests
Have a small gaming area and need a small keyboard to match? Prefer the number pad on the left side? With a fully modular NumPad, you can completely remove it or adjust its position to your liking. Just like the Control Module, the NumPad is capable of loose- or fix-mounted positioning, and the included set of longer wires bolsters your arrangement options. Supportive hardware promotes extended comfort, and the height-adjustable, active palm rest's thumb wheel and action button add more fingertip controls. Both wrist rests utilize a rugged five-pin connector to attach to the main keyboard module and NumPad.

| Best keyboard on the market | 3/16/2014 7:25 pm | this is by far the best keyboard on the market, i own both it and its rival the razer deathstalker ultimate, it is nice but it feels cheep and is all plastic whereas the strike 7 offers a sturdy customiseable design. it does require a wall outlet and a usb port but the deathstalker requires 2 usb ports and is far less portable. on top of all this the keyboard does not require the program for most of the features, unlike its competitor. dont waste your time and money on the razer keyboard, this is much better. | ||

It feels really nice to, and its parts are inter changeable which is incredible compared to the average keyboard. | ||

The venom screen could have infinitely more functionality, but they seem to have dropped support to push cheaper products. I feel cheated, seeing as this is supposed to be top of the line. | ||
| Brilliant! | 12/27/2013 12:24 am | This keyboard has it all: Media controls, a clock, quiet keys and a full RGB (16 million colour) backlight. The profiler on the Control Module is incredibly useful (and pleasing to the eye) and the palm rest is very comfortable. My only gripe is that the ST software doesn't work on my PC for whatever reason, and that while you can control Teamspeak, you can't control Skype. These are just minor issues that affect me, and really don't take away from what this keyboard can really do. A must-have for gamers, enthusiasts and well, anyone with $350 to burn! | ||
